PLR Do’s And Dont’s ; getting traffic the easy way

Certainly, when you are purchasing a bunch of PLR content, you need to be careful as the MAJORITY of it is complete garbage. So bad they need to be completely re-written in order to be usable. There are some top notch PLR suppliers out there that will give you articles that you would pay top dollar to have created. With a little due diligence, you will quickly have a truck load of good content on your hard drive. Finding Good PLR Content
Go the paydotcom.com and clickbank.com and do a “Market Place” search on term “PLR” or “articles”. This will give you plenty of packages to study. Do a background check on google on each one that peaks your interest. (Memberships with limited amount of seats are great although not necessary.) You can also find great PLR deals on ebay. Seller should be able to provide sample content from package as well have a good feedback rating. 2 Strong PLR Sources I can recommend are articleunderground.com and nichesinabox.com . I’ve used plrpro.com but thought they were c**p and overpriced. If you cant stretch to the membership, a little market specific plr digging on google or ebay will do the trick. There are lots of plr sites dedicated to particular broad markets like health, weight-loss. These can be great for swelling the silo structure on your authority site. Combine my re-write tips (below) with hittail.com’s keyword suggestions to also swell your top 10 SERP portfolio. What Do I do With That Lorry Load Of PLR Sitting On My Hard-Drive?
As you gain experience online you will naturally find many ways to get mileage from PLR. Here are some of the ways I use PLR to help get you started. - On My Authority sites I usually have a matching market specific article directory script installed. You can get a brilliant one FREE on articledashboard.com . Check out their forum to see what you can do and plugin to this baby. Copy and paste articles as is into your article directory (I don’t worry about the dupe content penalty, I’ll explain why shortly). Take that same article and feed it through a language translator(s) and place output in your article directory also. Typically I would take just one plr article per day for each site and place it in my article directory. I usually just post translated article in Spanish, French, German and Greek. I then use Social BookMarking Demon to get all versions of article indexed and of course backlinks. I also use linktator to get the most out of my internal linking structure. I will post on this at a later date. When site has gained some PR. 2+ is enough, I can have content automatically submitted to my article directory from article syndication services such as ArticleMarketer. Hope you adsense folk are foaming at the mouth realizing the power of this. Apply the correct promotion strategies and watch your adsense earnings soar. Later,I will try to create a post on how I get content flowing from syndicators to my article directory. Promoting your article directory properly (to the correct services) can get you thousands of free backlinks. Why am I not worrying about Duplicate Content Penalty ? Google does NOT penalize duplicate content. If it did, would it not penalize the large high pr websites that syndicate news feeds from all over the web? Look at google and yahoo news, ALL of its content is from OTHER websites. Google does not only rank the source where the content was first created. If 2 or more sites have the same content on a page then the site with the most inbound links relevant to what the user typed in search box, wins (sure, it goes a bit deeper, but 99% of the time links will win). Google wont show other sites with same content as it would naturally be frustrating for the searcher if the SERPS pointed to different urls that ultimately contained the same content. Think about it, how could duplicate content be accurately enforced without opening a cyber can of worms and changing the natural syndicating nature of moving content throughout the web? It can’t. Thats why linking and anchor text are so powerful and important. If you want to worry about anything it should be getting relevant links and not creating unique content (Except on your main pages and blogs). The content on my main sites/blogs are completely unique , the supplementary content on my article directory does not have unique content. The bulk of my external linking is to my main site/blog with lots of natural deeplinks over time to articles on my article directory. This combination of unique content, supplementary content and link strengthening are all you need to keep google in bed with you. Ooops, i’ve gone on a bit longer than I’d planned, you’ve have enough to soak up for a while here. I’ll leave the second phase of how I use PLR till the next post, i.e Re-writing PLR in minutes and submission locations.
